An RO (Reverse Osmosis) water plant was inaugurated at the Akshaya Patra Hyderabad kitchen on 30th March. The plant, costing Rs. 16 lakh, was contributed to the Foundation by MINT (SPMCIL) Hyderabad, and has the capacity to purify and provide 6,000 litres of RO water per hour to the plant.
The kitchen unit and RO plant was visited by the General Manager of MINT; Deputy General Manager of HR, Mr. Ramulu; Mahi Pal Reddy, MLA Patancheru; Akshaya Patra’s Unit President of Telangana, Satya Goura Chandra Dasa and others to commemorate this occasion. Mr. Ramulu cut the ribbon to officially open the plant.
