
Mrs.Sharadha, Anganwadi CDPO officer, along with other dignitaries visited Akshaya Patra's Hyderabad kitchen in June 2015. The dignitaries toured the kitchen and checked the rice in the godown. Raja Hamsa Dasa, the Head of Operations at the kitchen, explained the kitchen processes to the group, while the Head of Quality explained the high priority given to maintaining quality and hygiene during cooking.
Through this visit the team from CDPO understood clearly how the Hyderabad kitchen is supporting Anganwadi feeding in the state. Currently the kitchen feeds over 38,000 children across 176 Anganwadi centres in Telangana.
