Central Bank of India has extended its support to The Akshaya Patra Foundation as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative. Central Bank of India donated a meal distribution vehicle to the Hyderabad branch of Akshaya Patra. Executive Director of Central Bank of India Malay Mukharjee handed over the vehicle to Akshaya Patra team.

Speaking on the occasion Mukharjee said that Central Bank of India has been sincerely and actively involved in their CSR activities. He also mentioned that in future too it will continue to be engaged in such social activities. This vehicle will be used for distributing mid-day meals to about 5,000 children of Patancheru zone, Hyderabad.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is grateful and wholeheartedly thanks Central Bank of India for its generous support.
